RoyaleLife has been named as a finalist in the Solent 250 Awards.

The UK’s leading bungalow provider for the over 45s has been shortlisted in the ‘Growth and Resilience’ category, after impressing judges with its formidable growth strategy and commitment to delivering high-quality luxury homes.

CEO Robert Bull said: “Being recognised as a market leader is a huge achievement, and it has taken a lot of hard work from our incredible team to earn the excellent reputation that we enjoy today.

“Our business model works because we have identified a growing demand for low maintenance living and are addressing the shortage of single-storey homes.

“In the last decade alone, it has become more prevalent than ever that the UK’s major housing developers have pushed aside single-storey living in favour of building as many homes as possible. The COVID-19 pandemic has hugely shifted the nation’s buying perceptions however, with the demand for bungalows becoming bigger than ever.

“This was also a key take away from our most recent White Paper entitled Bungalows: A resurgence in single storey living and the promise of a better life. Our in-depth research of the nation’s over 50s discovered there is an increasing demand for low-maintenance, community living as well as having the opportunity to free up cash by downsizing.”

The company’s offering of fully furnished two-bedroom bungalows set in luxurious gated developments has certainly struck a nerve with the public, with the projected number of developments set to rise even further over the next five years.”

Robert continued: “Sustainability and community is still what drives the business today. It is a great feeling to know that we have the opportunity to change lives by allowing buyers to downsize through our Home Part Exchange scheme, as proven by our fantastic growth and many happy residents.”

Peter Laurie, head of client relations at The Business Magazine said: “RoyaleLife continues to impress us. Their rapid growth is a real testament to its commitment to redefining bungalow living and changing how the nation views bungalow developments designed for a more mature demographic.

“They join the shortlist with nine other of the South’s most highly regarded businesses, each representing the wealth of high-quality organisations we have in the Solent region. We wish RoyaleLife the very best of luck and look forward to the next stage of the award process.”

The Solent 250 is an annual listing of the 250 largest privately-owned businesses in the region. Featured in The Business Magazine, sponsors of the awards include HSBC, advisory and accountancy firm RSM, law firm Irwin Mitchell and specialist recruiter CMA Recruitment Group.
